On December 4, an eight-part supernatural mystery series titled Light Shop will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Created by the same individual behind the acclaimed series Moving, the show features six strangers who find themselves in a dark and mysterious neighborhood with no recollection of how they arrived there.
Light Shop is an adaptation of Kangfull's popular webtoon of the same name. The narrative follows the six characters as they confront traumatic events from their pasts. As they navigate their daily lives, they begin to sense that something is amiss, leading them to a mysterious light shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present, and future. The series promises to deliver an emotional journey filled with mystery and intrigue.
The cast includes Ju Jihoon as Jung Wonyoung, the owner of the light shop; Park Boyoung as a nurse whose life was altered by a near-death experience; Bae Seongwoo as a detective; Lee Jungeun as a distraught mother; and Kim Minha as screenwriter Sunhae. The adaptation is penned by Kangfull and directed by Kim Hiewon.
Light Shop follows the success of Kangfull's previous series Moving, which became the most viewed international original series on Disney+ Hotstar shortly after its release in 2023. The series has garnered a significant fanbase globally.
Upon its release, Light Shop will contribute to the growing library of award-winning Korean content available on Disney+ Hotstar, which includes other popular titles such as Moving, Big Bet, and The Worst of Evil. This year, over a dozen notable Korean stories have been added to the platform, with more titles expected before the year concludes.

라이트 샵에는 주지훈이 라이트 샵의 주인 정원영 역을, 박보영이 가까스로 사는 데 큰 변화가 생긴 간호사 역을, 배성우가 탐정 역할을, 이정은이 괴로운 어머니 역을, 그리고 김민하가 각본가 선해 역을 맡았습니다. 이 시리즈는 강풀이 각색하였으며, 김희원이 감독을 맡았습니다.
