LG Innotek expands global talent hunt

LG Innotek's CEO, Moon Hyuk-soo, is intensifying efforts to attract top global talent to enhance the company's competitive position in the international market, which accounts for most of its sales. Recently, he hosted the "Inno Connect" hiring event in San Francisco, where he, along with other executives, showcased the company's key business areas and advancements in research and development. Moon emphasized the importance of partnerships with leading clients that stem from technological innovations driven by exceptional talent. He also highlighted the company's commitment to nurturing expertise through a structured training program. The event brought together 32 doctorate holders from prestigious universities such as MIT and Stanford, focusing on fields like artificial intelligence and robotics that align with LG Innotek's future business directions. During a session titled "Talk With C-Levels," Moon engaged with participants about the company's strategies and technological roadmap, addressing their queries regarding its capabilities in optical technology and autonomous vehicles. As overseas sales constituted 95% of LG Innotek's revenue in the first half of the year, the company is actively working to secure international talent, including a recent global internship program that involved students from various universities.
