Riize speaks out on Seunghan’s return

Riize's Wonbin reached out to fans for their understanding regarding the return of suspended member Seunghan. He expressed his thoughts on Weverse to clarify the situation for the fandom, Briize. Wonbin emphasized that the members have engaged in extensive discussions with Seunghan and SM Entertainment about his comeback, highlighting the emotional weight of the decision and the importance of fan support, stating, "There is no Riize without Briizes." Seunghan, who had been suspended for nearly ten months due to personal controversies, is set to gradually rejoin the group's activities starting in November, as announced by Wizard Production. Despite the official announcement, some fans are protesting Seunghan's return. They have sent funeral wreaths to SM Entertainment with messages demanding his removal and have initiated a truck protest, declaring that Riize should remain a group of six. The protests stem from the controversy surrounding Seunghan, which began with personal photos that surfaced before the group's debut and escalated with further incidents leading to his suspension. Riize, SM Entertainment's first new boy group in three years, has enjoyed success since their debut with over a million copies sold of their single "Get A Guitar," yet the discord over Seunghan's return continues to divide the fanbase.
