[Today’s K-pop] BTS’ Jin to drop solo album next month: report


Jin from BTS is set to release a solo album in November, as confirmed by Big Hit Music, although a specific date has not been provided. Recently, he released a digital single titled "Super Tuna," which features an additional verse and has achieved significant success, topping the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 57 regions and Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart. His previous solo work, "The Astronaut," a collaboration with Coldplay, was released in October 2022 and also performed exceptionally well, reaching the top of the iTunes charts in 107 regions and garnering 500 million Spotify streams. Jin hinted at his upcoming solo album back in June, expressing his intent to follow Jimin's solo endeavors. Enhypen will be releasing a repackage of their second studio album, "Romance: Untold – Daydream," on November 11, following the success of the original album which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 2.34 million copies in its first week. Meanwhile, girl group Viviz is preparing to launch their fifth EP, "Voyage," on November 7, a year after their last release. Additionally, Ateez's Hongjoong is set to participate in a charity event for children on his birthday, November 7, encouraging fans to join him in a virtual run to support clean water initiatives.
