[Today’s K-pop] Stray Kids to release 2nd LP in Japan next month


Stray Kids, under JYP Entertainment, are preparing to release their second full-length album in Japan titled "Giant" on November 13. Since their debut in Japan in March 2020, the eight-member group has released various albums and singles, with their latest EP "Social Path (feat. LiSA)/ Super Bowl - Japanese ver." achieving significant success on the Oricon charts. The group recently returned from Los Angeles after filming a performance for the American Music Awards and are currently on their "dominATE" tour, with upcoming stops in Singapore and Melbourne. Meanwhile, BTS member Jimin continues to make waves on the music charts, with his solo single "Who" maintaining a position on Billboard's Hot 100 for a record-breaking tenth consecutive week. The song, part of his second solo EP "Muse," has also performed well on other global music charts, including the UK's Official Top Singles Chart and Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global Chart, achieving over 600 million streams on Spotify as of September.
