Yena's new single ‘Nemo Nemo' presents clever metaphor for love

Yena has returned with her third single album, "Nemo Nemo," following her January release of "Good Morning" after an eight-month hiatus. The album's title, derived from the Korean term for "square," symbolizes the intricate emotions associated with love. Yena explained during a recent press conference in Seoul that the concept of the square metaphorically represents the diverse ways individuals define and express their feelings of love. The title track of the album, also named "Nemo Nemo," is an upbeat electronic dance tune with whimsical and insightful lyrics that explore the highs and lows of romantic relationships. Yena shared that the song draws parallels between the varying facets of love and the sharp edges of a square to capture the complexity of romantic experiences. Additionally, she revealed that the album's musical style was influenced by her admiration for past K-pop acts like T-ara, After School, and Orange Caramel, blending nostalgia with her unique artistic approach.
