Disney+ has announced the premiere of the new music reality show "Good Day," featuring G-Dragon as the host and produced by Kim Tae-ho. The show is set to debut locally on February 26.
"Good Day" will follow G-Dragon as he embarks on a journey to create "the song of the year," seeking inspiration by meeting various individuals from different fields.
The concept of the show was personally proposed by G-Dragon, who collaborated with producer Kim, known for the popular variety show "Infinite Challenge."
The platform highlighted that "'Good Day' will offer promising entertainment, showcasing G-Dragon's authentic side, his experiences as a K-pop icon, and the diverse chemistry he develops through these interactions."
High anticipation surrounds the show, particularly due to the lineup of guests, which includes actors Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in, and Yim Si-wan, alongside TV personalities Kian84 and chef Anh Sung-jae.
"Good Day" will air at 9:10 p.m. every Sunday on MBC, and will also be available for streaming on Disney+. It is set to be globally streamed through iQIY and tvN Asia.
G-Dragon returned to his solo career in October with the digital single "POWER," marking his first solo release in seven years. The song topped iTunes charts in 16 countries upon its release. He also released another single, "HOME SWEET HOME," with the group BIGBANG a month later, achieving significant success on local music charts.

이 프로그램은 G-드래곤이 “올해의 노래”를 만들기 위한 여정을 따라가며, 다양한 분야의 여러 사람들과 만나 영감을 받는 과정을 담을 예정이다.
가수 G-드래곤이 직접 이 음악 쇼의 아이디어를 제안했으며, 히트 예능 프로그램 “무한도전”을 제작한 김태호와 협력하게 된다.
플랫폼 측은 보도자료에서 “‘굿데이’는 G-드래곤의 진솔한 개인적 삶, K-팝 아이콘으로서의 순간, 그리고 다양한 인물들과의 만남을 통해 형성되는 다양한 화학작용을 보여주는 유망한 오락 프로그램이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 김수현, 정해인, 임시완 등 배우들부터 Kian84, 셰프 안성재 등 방송인들까지 다양한 게스트 라인업으로 큰 기대를 모으고 있다.
“굿데이”는 매주 일요일 오후 9시 10분 MBC에서 방송되며 디즈니+에서 스트리밍될 예정이다. 또한, iQIY와 tvN 아시아를 통해 글로벌 스트리밍도 가능하다.
G-드래곤은 지난해 10월 디지털 싱글 “POWER”로 솔로 활동을 재개했으며, 2017년 자가 타이틀 EP “권지용” 이후 7년 만에 첫 솔로 곡을 발매했다. 이 곡은 발매 후 16개 국가의 아이튠즈 차트에서 1위를 기록했다.
그는 한 달 후 그룹 빅뱅과 함께 또 다른 싱글 “HOME SWEET HOME”을 발매하며 국내 음악 차트를 석권했다.
