The annual InterBattery 2025 exhibition, the largest battery event in Korea, will take place from March 5 to 7. Leading manufacturers, including LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK On, will showcase their latest innovations in the battery industry.
This year marks the 13th edition of the event, which is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in conjunction with several local associations. The exhibition is expected to feature over 640 companies, highlighting significant advancements in battery technologies and materials.
LG Energy Solution will unveil its next-generation 46-series cylindrical batteries, which offer more than five times the energy and output compared to current models. The company will also present a cell array structure battery module designed to enhance performance and safety, along with its battery management solutions and a solar mobility vehicle powered by its batteries.
Samsung SDI will showcase innovations under the slogan “InCelligent Life,” focusing on safety and performance with technologies such as No thermal propagation, all-solid batteries, and cell-to-pack solutions. The company will display advancements in its thermal propagation calculator and provide updates on its all-solid battery development, aiming for mass production by 2027.
Additionally, Samsung SDI will reveal a high-power cylindrical battery with a tabless design and an autonomous bus powered by its cylindrical batteries.
SK On will emphasize its capabilities across pouch, prismatic, and cylindrical battery types, introducing a mockup of its cylindrical battery. The company will also showcase its advancements in prismatic batteries, including a new top-tab version, alongside high-voltage mid-nickel batteries that balance performance, cost, and safety.
Furthermore, SK On will present its next-generation wireless battery management system, which utilizes wireless chips for data transmission. The Hyundai Ioniq 9, featuring SK On's Advanced SF battery, will also be on display, highlighting the integration of vehicle-to-load functionality.

한국의 주요 배터리 제조업체인 LG 에너지 솔루션, 삼성 SDI 및 SK 온이 최신 혁신 제품을 선보이기 위해 국내 최대 배터리 전시회인 인터배터리 2025에 참여합니다.
상공부 주최로 한국배터리산업협회, COEX 및 KOTRA가 공동 주관하는 이번 연례 행사는 3월 5일부터 7일까지 개최됩니다. 2013년 처음 시작된 이후 13년째를 맞이하는 이번 행사에서는 주요 배터리 제조업체와 소재 공급업체를 포함해 640개 이상의 기업이 참여할 예정입니다.
LG 에너지 솔루션은 차세대 46시리즈 원통형 배터리를 처음으로 소개합니다. 이 배터리는 기존 모델보다 최소 5배 이상의 에너지와 출력을 제공하여 원통형 배터리 시장의 게임 체인저로 자리 잡을 것으로 기대됩니다.
회사는 또한 원통형 배터리 성능과 안전성을 향상시키기 위해 설계된 셀 배열 구조 배터리 모듈과 팩 솔루션을 선보일 예정입니다.
또한 LG의 배터리는 미국의 태양광 EV 스타트업인 Aptera Motors의 태양광 이동 수단을 구동하며, 이 혁신적인 차량은 태양광 패널과 배터리 팩을 결합하여 주행 거리를 극대화하였으며, 유명한 미국 SF 영화에도 등장한 바 있습니다.
기타 주요 내용으로는 배터리 관리 총 솔루션, 비용 효율적인 LFP 셀-투-팩(CTP) 솔루션, 고전압 중 니켈 파우치 셀 및 소형 배터리 셀을 장착한 로봇이 포함됩니다.
삼성 SDI는 "InCelligent Life, upgrading our daily lives with battery technologies."라는 슬로건 아래 참여합니다. 회사는 안전성과 성능 혁신 세 가지에 중점을 두고 있으며, 여기에는 열 전파 방지(No TP), 전고체 배터리(ASB) 및 CTP가 포함됩니다.
No TP 기술은 배터리 셀 간의 열 전파를 물리적으로 차단하도록 설계되어, 안전성을 높입니다. 삼성 SDI의 열 전파 계산기는 제품 기획 단계에서 열 전파를 방지하도록 구조 설계를 최적화합니다.
회사는 또한 액체 전해질을 고체 전해질로 대체하여 안전성과 성능을 향상시킨 ASB 업데이트를 선보일 예정입니다. 샘플은 이미 여러 고객에게 제공되었으며, 삼성 SDI는 2027년 대량 생산을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
CTP 기술에 대해서는 상단 단자와 측면 단자가 있는 프리스머틱 배터리를 전시하여 배터리 통합 및 효율성의 발전을 보여줄 것입니다.
추가로 삼성 SDI는 용량과 전류 흐름을 향상시키는 탭리스 디자인의 50암페어 고출력 원통형 배터리를 공개할 예정입니다. 4,000개의 삼성 SDI 21700 원통형 배터리로 구동되는 자율주행 버스 ROii도 전시됩니다.
SK 온은 파우치, 프리스머틱 및 원통형 배터리의 모든 형태에서 전문성을 강조합니다. 특히 지난해 시범 시설 완공 후 처음으로 원통형 배터리 모형을 선보일 예정입니다.
프리스머틱 배터리에 대해 SK 온은 작년의 측면 탭 버전 외에 상단 탭 프리스머틱 셀을 추가하고, Z-접기 적층 및 고속 충전 솔루션도 선보입니다.
주요 하이라이트 중 하나는 SK 온의 고전압 중 니켈 배터리로, 비용, 성능, 수명 및 안전성을 균형 있게 조절합니다. 니켈-코발트-망간 캐소드에서 50%에서 70%의 니켈이 포함된 이 배터리는 고니켈 셀의 높은 에너지 밀도와 LFP 배터리의 비용 효율성 및 열 안정성을 결합합니다. 파우치형 버전은 니켈과 코발트 비용을 줄이는 동시에 높은 전압을 활용하여 에너지 밀도를 높입니다.
또한 SK 온은 배선 없이 무선 칩을 사용하여 데이터를 전송하는 차세대 무선 배터리 관리 시스템을 소개할 예정입니다.
현대의 아이오닉 9는 SK 온의 고급 SF 배터리를 탑재하여 차량-부하 기능을 지원하며, 이 또한 전시됩니다.
