Actress Kim Sae-ron, known for her roles in the films "The Man from Nowhere" and "The Neighbors," was found dead at her home on Sunday, according to police reports.
The 24-year-old actress was discovered in her residence located in Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul, around 4:55 p.m. by a friend who had arranged to meet her. The friend alerted authorities after being unable to contact her.
A police official stated, "We have not found any signs of foul play as of yet, but we are investigating the circumstances of the death."
In 2022, Kim faced legal issues after being caught driving under the influence, resulting in a crash that damaged a guardrail and a transformer. She was subsequently fined 20 million won (approximately $13,850).
Last April, Kim attempted to return to acting by participating in a play but withdrew due to health-related controversies.
