Seulgi of the K-pop girl group Red Velvet is set to return as a solo artist with a new album next month. The singer's agency announced that she will release her second mini-album, “Accidentally On Purpose,” on March 10, accompanied by teaser images for the upcoming release.
The new album will be available on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on March 10 and will feature six tracks, including the title song “Baby, Not Baby.” This marks Seulgi's first solo release in over two years, following her debut mini-album “28 Reasons” in October 2022, which achieved significant success on both local and international charts.
The agency emphasized that following her successful solo debut, which received a five-star rating from a prominent music magazine, the new album is anticipated to generate strong responses from global fans, showcasing Seulgi's unique musical style.
From February 24, various promotional content, including trailers, teaser images, highlight clips, and music video teasers, will be released to build anticipation for her comeback.
Preorders for the second mini-album began on Tuesday across various online and offline music platforms. Seulgi debuted with Red Velvet in 2014 and the group has since achieved widespread popularity, releasing numerous hit songs.
Recently, Red Velvet celebrated its 10th debut anniversary with the mini-album "Cosmic," which topped global music charts, and released a concert movie following its anniversary fan concert.
