Washing machine and dryer sets from LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics have achieved top ratings in a recent U.S. consumer performance study.
According to industry sources, LG Electronics' washer and dryer set was ranked No. 1 in both the front-load and high-efficiency (HE) top-load categories in the Best Matching Washer and Dryer Sets of 2025 study conducted by Consumer Reports.
Samsung Electronics also secured the top position in the top-load agitator washer-dryer set category.
Consumer Reports performed performance tests on 70 washer-dryer sets available in the United States.
The organization noted that LG Electronics has received excellent reliability ratings for its front-loaders, HE top-loaders, and dryers.
Currently, LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics lead the U.S. washer and dryer markets, holding the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively, with a combined market share of nearly 50 percent.

소비자 보고서는 미국에서 제공되는 70개 세탁기-건조기 세트에 대한 성능 테스트를 실시했다.
이 조직은 LG 전자가 전면 로더, HE 상단 로더 및 건조기에서 뛰어난 신뢰성을 인정받았다고 밝혔다.
현재 LG 전자와 삼성 전자는 미국 세탁기와 건조기 시장에서 각각 1위와 2위를 차지하며, 합산 시장 점유율은 거의 50%에 달하고 있다.
