Hanwha Aerospace, a Korean defense equipment manufacturer, announced the successful conclusion of its annual international meeting for military authorities utilizing the K9 self-propelled howitzer in Poland.
The K9 User Club meeting took place in Krakow, Poland, on Tuesday, and was attended by military representatives from seven countries, including Poland, Norway, Finland, and Australia. Observer delegations from the United States and Sweden were also present.
During the meeting, participants engaged in discussions regarding maintenance strategies, ammunition interoperability, and advancements in next-generation systems. Additionally, attendees toured the production facilities of Poland's state-run defense firm Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), which manufactures the Krab howitzer based on the K9 chassis, and observed K9 units in operational settings.
Cho Sang-hwan, head of Hanwha's maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) division, emphasized the growing importance of providing effective and timely support as more countries adopt the K9. He stated, "We are focused on improving quality and maximizing support capabilities."

한화의 유지보수, 수리 및 운영(MRO) 부서 책임자인 조상환은 "더 많은 국가들이 K9을 도입함에 따라 효과적이고 시기적절한 지원을 제공하는 것이 점점 더 중요해지고 있다"고 말했다. "우리는 품질 개선과 지원 능력 극대화에 집중하고 있다."
